The EtsyMom Curator Award (EMCA) is an award that will honor the dedication of one EtsyMom each month! The recipient will be the EtsyMom who helps to promote the team as a whole by curating the most EtsyMom team treasuries in a one month period! We will also be acknowledging each and every team treasury as well as the EtsyMom who curates it right here on this site!

This is a great way to promote EtsyMom as a team to get our name out there and encourage others to buy handmade products from hard working, talented and dedicated moms. We think that a great way to start off is by encouraging all EtsyMoms to curate EtsyMom team treasuries. We have quite a few members – what a huge impact it would have on promoting EtsyMom! Many people check the treasuries often, and some shop directly from them.

This is how the EMCA works:
The EMCA challenge will be active from the first of the month until the last day of the month.
Each EtsyMom who curates an EtsyMom TEAM treasury will submit a link to their treasury in the thread dedicated to that month’s award on the Forum. Every single team treasury will get a screenshot (picture) posted to the EtsyMom Team Website.
A minimum of 25 treasuries must be made in a month in order to complete the contest. If 25 treasuries are not made in a month, the contest will roll over to the next month.
Each individual contestant must make a minimum of 8 treasuries to qualify to win. Again, if there are no contestants with 8 or more treasuries, the contest will roll over to the next month.
Both Winner and Sponsor minis will be posted from the 5th to the 5th of each month.

The rules:
1. The sponsors for the month CANNOT be winners for that month
2. The same person cannot win two awards in a row
3. In order for your treasury to count, 10 of the 16 items must be EtsyMom items, and you must mention “EtsyMom” either in your treasury title or description so it’s easily identified as an EtsyMom treasury.
4. To qualify for a prize, a minimum of 8 treasuries must be made by an individual.

Grand Prize: (highest number of treasuries made and entered during contest cycle)
1. Your Etsy mini posted on the sidebar of our site
2. Marvelous Mom feature on the team blog and mention in the newsletter
3. First choice of a prize from the listed sponsors for that contest cycle
4. A button with your shop name linking to the blog posted to the personal/business blogs of participating team members. Linking to the blog will get viewers to your Etsy mini on the blog and then on to your shop.**
5. Featured on the Etsymom Team facebook page for the month following.
**Potentially, this prize could become ad space on a larger blog belonging to a team member who is willing to sponsor the EMCA Award.

2. Mention in the newsletter with link to your shop

2nd Runner Up:
1. Third choice of prizes from participating sponsors
2. Mention in the newsletter with link to your shop

Sponsors:
Each month, we will have 4 sponsors for the EMCA recipient of the month to choose from. You can sign up to be a sponsor in the Team forum. Being a sponsor is another great way to get your name out there. Your EtsyMini will be featured on our site during the entire month that you are sponsoring. You will also be featured that month on the Etsymom Team facebook page.
The prize offered by a sponsor should be something the winner receives free and clear and have a minimum value of $10, maximum value of $20.
